Our summer meet up has been decided! In less than two months we will be hosting our third book swap. Since it is the summer time in Texas we are meeting in an event space INDOORS in the air conditioning so we don't melt. A 2nd cup has graciously agreed to reserve their entire back event space for us so I won't be having to get there an hour early to spread out and save tables, so THANK YOU SO MUCH A 2nd Cup!

We will be meeting at A 2nd Cup
in the Back Event Room
on June 29th, 2019 at 2:00 PM
The premise is simple:
Please bring ONE new/gently used books.
For each book you bring you will put your name on a raffle ticket and we will draw to select the picking order. All the books will be spread out as people arrive so you can start looking at the titles and taking mental notes on your first line of attack when it is your turn.
The amount of people who have started RSVPing for this event is much more than expected, so we asking people to only bring ONE book each so things can move fluidly and we won't keep people waiting too long before its their turn!

A 2nd Cup was established in 2012 to raise awareness of human trafficking issues in Houston—and to develop resources that help create a second chance for survivors.
